Brett Blundy Retail Capital (BBRC)

In 2005, the retail music industry in Australia was facing a bleak future.  Traditional physical music sales (CDs) were plummeting  and on-line digital music sales were on the rise.  The obvious answer was to offer digital music within the retail environment.  A simple answer to a complex problem.

NeoProducts was approached to assist Brazin (now Brett Blundy Retail Capital), who controlled Sanity, Virgin & HMV in Australia, to develop an appropriate self service kiosk solution.  In fact, we developed a range of kiosk solutions that the client could deploy in a standalone and ’out of store’ environment, through to the ‘total in store’ system they use in their stores today.

BBRC successfully privatised Brazin Ltd in December 2006, who, in Australia, control the entertainment brands of Sanity, Virgin & HMV.  NeoProducts' kiosk systems are in place in  a large number of BBRC music stores throughout Australia today, with plans for  further  future expansion.
