This allows us to offer our customers complete and secure kiosk solutions - including payment systems, kiosk content management and monitoring over wide area networks. We develop applications using a modern, highly
inter-operable, flexible and modular software platform. The architecture for
this platform has been redesigned from the ground up in the last year, and is already delivering revenue to a major high street retailer.
The platform is based on high level interfaces using features from Microsoft’s .Net Framework. This includes Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). These provide modern communications and UI functions for writing applications. The interfaces we have developed provide higher level functions to support kiosk hardware peripherals, modern touch based user interface (UI) controls and payment services.
